What if Jesus wasn’t at the Last Supper?
Accomplished photographer and artist José Manuel Ballester created the answer. The result is currently on exhibit at Tabacalera, along with photographic expressions of construction, space and absence. The title, forests of light, is the collection’s grand theme, which details 8 years of Ballester’s work.
As the 2010 winner of the presentigous National Photography award of Spain, it should be on your radar.

I so want to go see this! I’d heard of the title of the exhibition but didn’t know exactly what it was about (or how cool it would be). Thanks for the heads-up!
It’s certainly worth the trip! Additionally, you should check out the building next door. Once a month on Sunday they have the RAVE market and I’ve found some really good finds. http://www.facebook.com/ravemarketmadrid
