A NEW Blog & a Giveaway!

Today, I’m introducing my FIRST giveaway. Why? In launching a new blog (surprise!), I’m forcing followers of this blog to redirect here. Since I believe that hard work should be met with rewards, I’m coupling that effort with this: the chance to win something unique.

The prize? One winner will select an 8×10 photographic print from my image gallery on my new blog. (You can choose between China, Chile, Nepal, Peru, Spain, the States, and Turkey.)

UPDATE: The winner was announced. Congratulations to Nikala!

To win the 8×10 print, follow the steps listed below:

1. Follow Nomadic Ventures Media on Facebook or me (anna_frisk) on Twitter.

2. Subscribe to my new blog, Nomadic Ventures, and get regular updates! Next week I’ll be posting the first of a regular interview series on expat life in the world. The series will answer what it’s really like to be a teacher in Myanmar, or a peace corps volunteer in Benin, or a brewer in Madrid. The first (hint, hint) will feature an expat and friend in Myanmar.

3.  Comment below when you’ve subscribed. Each follow (on Facebook, Twitter, & Nomadic Ventures) earns you an entry. Share the love and you’ll receive another entry for each plug! To create multiple entries simply comment again and state the social media action you’ve made. I’m @anna_frisk and I’m following you on Twitter. Comment again to tell me that you’ve shared it and you’ll have at least two entries in the pot.

The winner will be announced on September 18th at midnight (Turkey time). The prize will ship internationally, plus I’ll throw in the added bonus of a special Turkish treat. Good luck! Or as they say in Turkish, iyi şanslar.

*UPDATE: You must comment to receive an entry! Don’t be shy. DSC_0316

  1. 안녕! This is your coolest friend in South Korea. I can’t wait to get updates on your blog life 🙂 I miss you!!

    • Merhaba! I’m happy you found this. 😉 If you follow on any other social media, just comment again and you get another entry! I’d love to surprise you with some Turkish treat love!

    • Thanks! It does appear fancy! Squarespace is a mixed bag. I love the modern look of the templates, but I’m not keen on the necessity of using other programs for details I’d consider basic (such as subscription buttons). Overall though, I wanted something that’s more than a blog and Squarespace does that well. What do you use?

    • Thank you! You’re equally inspiring! You always inspire me to conjure up wishful thoughts of journeys to Africa. One day.

P.S. You can comment two more times and get two more chances to win, if you’re interested. 🙂
